2025 Camp Speaker

Brad Carr

Brad Carr currently serves as a minister, leader, author, and communicator, having had the privilege of being a pastor for most of his adult life.

That entire journey has been made possible with his amazing wife Rochelle, whom he married in 1994. Together they have three adult sons - Harrison, Logan and Jaden - as well as a new daughter-in-law Amy (married to Harrison), and a gorgeous border collie named Arlo. They make their home in the Botany area in the eastern part of Auckland in New Zealand.

He serves as part of the preaching team at Gracecity Church, speaking regularly at our different congregations across Auckland. He also leads an "Emerging Preachers" program at Gracecity to develop the next generation of biblical communicators. He also preaches regularly in a number of other churches in New Zealand, while running Bible and Preaching Seminars for their congregations and preaching teams respectively. And has had the privilege of speaking internationally in places as diverse as Kenya, Australia, Nepal, Uganda, and the USA.
His other key ministry role is serving as the International Director for Barnabas School of Leadership (BSL), an organisation devoted to training and equipping church leaders in under-resourced parts of the world. BSL is committed to training pastors and church leaders in the Majority World as humble servant-leaders who walk in the footsteps of Jesus. Currently, BSL is serving the Lord in 8 countries across Asia and Africa.

He is a graduate of Dallas Theological Seminary (DTS), where they both studied as a newly married couple, and Brad earned a Master of Theology degree.

Brad will be speaking on The Book of Jonah at Easter Camp 2025.
